We are committed to providing Title 1 school youth with a safe, structured and enjoyable environment in which to spend their summer. Our aim is to foster an awareness of peace, love, justice, self-worth and mutual respect. We reach out to children of single-parent, immigrant, refugee and low–income families; many of whom attend the Title 1 schools. The camps are multi-linguistic and multi-ethnic, striving to promote harmony between children from different cultural and religious backgrounds. The focus of the program is to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), sport participation, promote healthy development in youth, and increase youth access to education resources pertaining to gang prevention, drug and violence prevention and dropout prevention and counseling. Our summer camps are designed to help youth develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes they will need to succeed in life.
