Dr. Freeman brings 23 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit leadership, management and organization development. As a consultant for the past three years his clients included international and domestic nonprofit organizations, foundations and donor agencies focused on social justice, community and youth development. His areas of expertise include strategic planning and capacity building, leadership and management training, partnership and board development, evaluation, and management of international and multicultural teams and projects. Dr. Freeman is currently the Vice Chair of the Mecklenburg County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council.
Dr. Freeman has his PhD in Organizational Management and holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelors of Science in Business Law/Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland.

Alesha Tuck RN – Healthy Communities Director
Alesha brings her experience as a School Nurse and Community Health Center Nurse to our Healthy Communities initiatives. As the Healthy Communities Director, she has oversight of all ASPIRE community health services as well as health and nutritional educational services focused towards minority/underserved communities.
Alesha received her B.S. in Nursing from Queens University.
Mildred Perez – Case Management Director
Mildred has been in the mental health, substance abuse and social services fields for the past 15 years, specializing in homeless, mentally ill, drug abuse, physically disabled, and aging populations. Mariemer also brings experience in crisis intervention, case management, housing, and group counseling. Most recently, she served as a Case Manager for Genesis Project 1 where she worked with immigrants in need of mental health and substance abuse services.
Timothy has worked with ASPIRE since 2009. Prior to joining ASPIRE; he was active in the community as a mentor, tutor and football/basketball coach. Timothy is directly responsible for supervising all summer programs/staff and works closely with community partners to ensure ASPIRE programs maintain quality standards.
Timothy has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from William Penn University.
